Established, with a track record of steady customers, not a startup.
Profitable, or with clear earnings once owner perks are added back.
Service, trade or industrial: see industries we buy.
A team in place: techs, crew leads, office staff.
An owner who wants a good outcome for employees and customers, whether retiring or moving on.

Things we especially like

Recurring revenue: maintenance agreements, inspection contracts, monitoring, routes, memberships.
A strong local name and reviews.
Owned real estate (we can buy it or lease it back).
Diverse customers, no single customer dominating revenue.
Owners willing to help with a transition.

Things that don't rule you out

You're the licensed qualifier. That's normal; we plan for it. See license transfer.
Your books need cleanup. We can work through it.
